What about breaking up the order by Americas and Europe - would it be cheaper overall to get two batches printed, one there and one here? It would surely work out cheaper than $40 to print and ship? (Then again maybe not, I'm a bit out in 1st world prices currently!)

Not so far off TRC - by my calculations it will be $25 to print, and ~$12 to ship, or $37 in total.

Printing over here is an option - but means that Mosc loses out on the price breaks over in the US - and the overall costs then get very pricey for him because of the account set up charges:-
Currently he has ~40 people for $400 set up costs, or ~$10 each. If we take 20 people away from him, that means the US costs have just risen to $35 per book, which is rather more than the postage costs to Europe.

So, at present, unless someone can find a much cheaper printer (like in Bangladesh TRC???) I would suggest that the community would be better off using a single printing source.

Printing overseas (China, or such like) does not work out cheaper for a small number of books, only if you are shipping many thousands, due to the freight costs.

Hi

Great to here you can print it out .So I want 6 books. At say 4lbs the USPS cost to ship to Canada is $29.25.
So the cost for the books is $25.00 a copy ?
If so then that would work out to $150.00 plus the $30.00 to ship them in a box .

If this sounds right let me know and I will send the money through Paypal. I have an account with them to.

Thanks for doing this .

Regards.

I think the shipping costs would be lower when you can send them all together.  Post, PM or email me your Zip Code and I'll try to calculate a better shipping cost.  Thanks for the interest.

Hi Moscovian,

since I'm overseas all alone regarding this project. har.

Shipping cost plus book will be quit 'expensive' for me. Now around the corner where I work is a printing/graphic store. I could print it myself and still donate charity?

Ok?

I'll go back to the Post Office today to confirm some of these numbers but the USPS site shows $11.95 for 'all other contries' but when I was there they gave me a price of $15.  Of course that was for the Armageddon book which is heavier.

I'd say hold off on the international pre-pays until I get the proof back and am able to weigh it.  Instead feel free to PM or email me your zip codes and I'll be able to post back here with some solid info.  $12 may be right on for the shipping but if I can send it to the tournament then it could save people a lot of money.

I haven't posted it anywhere else.  I figured other forum members might not trust the process until an actual book could be photographed and the word came from others that they pre-paid AND got it in their hands.

FYI 11 copies pre-ordered in 20 hours.  When it hits 25 copies pre-ordered I'll get them shipped, assuming the proof comes out good of course.
