Howdy folks,

After over a year, Epic: Raiders is complete. ?You can download it here...

Epic: Raiders

WARNING! ?This file is 55MB and over 130 pages long. ?

Inside are the newest versions of the Dark Eldar, the Minervan, and the Necron lists. ?These versions supersede the previous ones and you can find their notes in the Appendices. ?

I'll be leaving this up as a Beta and hopefully the keen eyes of Tactical Command will find all of the formatting mistakes, typos, etc., that I missed. ?On May 12th, I will be re-posting Raiders and will hopefully not have to tinker with it for another year or so. ?Please feel free to comment on the lists, the backgrounds, the fiction, the modeling stuff, etc. ?Hena, I am ready for your eagle eyes. ?:)

The final version will be available as a single document and in pieces (for ease of downloading). ?I just don't feel like breaking it up until the final version is out.

I am keenly aware that this document will suck printer cartridges dry and I will endeavor to put out a printer friendly version soon. ?

Due to some rather annoying factors, the opportunity to be a part of Warseer's Firebase this quarter is lost. ?However, I was assured that Raiders will appear in the next publication. ?In addition, Andy Hall from Fanatic will be linking to the final document as well.

Thanks for your interest. ?Feel free to post any comments, criticisms, etc., here on this thread.

One concern: The picture of the Basilisk is NOT Armageddon Pattern.

Looking good Bill!

Using tools at my disposal I'm able to reduce the file size from 55MB to 22MB *PRE*-zip (It's even smaller when compressed).  Once you're done the edit pass, let me know and I'll save you some bandwidth downloading.

I know.   :glare:  TRC pointed that out but I was struggling with getting some good closeup pictures and unfortunately I was limited in what I had.  Unless somebody donates one in the next few days it will have to remain.

Chroma, thanks for the offer and I'll take you up on that.  I am sure Cybershadow will appreciate that much more than me.  How much resolution is lost on the compressed version (my father always said you can't get somethin' for nothin')?

Jok3r, this project became a lot bigger than any of us thought.  Look at the credit page - almost 50 people involved...

That reminds me!!  If there is anyone that I have left off the Credit Page, PM ME IMMEDIATELY.  It was easy to lose track of information with something so big so any names left off is unintentional, I can assure you.  If I forgot you, don't be humble!  I want everyone mentioned.

So, suggestions/corrections:

First off, I'd, again, recommend toning down the colour/palettes of the actual army lists pages; take a look at the Swordwind or Rulebook lists for inspiration: the current ones are total ink hogs and the "white text on colour background" can be tough to read.

Second, the reference sheet in the back has Dark Eldar stats... but Light Eldar names!  *laugh*

Is there going to be reference sheets for Necrons and Minervans back there too?

More to come...   :D

No resolution is lost... and you're getting *less* for nothing... not somethin'!  *laugh*

Quite simply the best fan-produced thing I've ever seen.
