Remember the little discussion we had going back in June-ish about how a Titan Legio was organised?
(and heres a link to it in case you've forgotten: http://www.epic40k.co.uk/epicomm....;st=30
Well I found this bit of fluff that basically nullifies our result...
bugger...
Titan Battle Groups The Titan Legions are extremely flexible organisations. The number of operational titans in a single legion can vary between barely a dozen in the case of the elite Legio Ordo Sinister to voer a hunderd int eh Legio Destructor. When at war some of the Legion's battle titans are sent to different sectors of hte battle front to support specified companies, nominally coming under the control of the sector commander. Likewise, most Emperor class titans are delpoyed in to strengthen the front at key points,. although these remain under the direct command of the Legion's Grand Master.
The bulkd ot he legion's remaining battle titans are formed into battlegroups of three titans each, which will usually reamin together for the course of the campaign. Each battle-group is an independent unit, frequently including its own supporting troops as well as repair and maintenance facilities. The Titans in a battlegroup are nearly always of the same ypes, Reavers or Warlords. This ensures that they remain a cohesive group with similar capabilities.
Scout tians such as Warhounds have not been organised into battlegroups since the excesses committed by Senior Princeps Esau Turnet's Death Head Scouts, part of the Traitor Legio Mortis, during the Horus Hersey. Instead Scout titans operate in pairs and these teams are attached to battlegroups or other large formations as required.
The armament of the Titans in a battle-group varies greatly according to teh terrain it's fighting in and the strengths of its opponents. The Grand Masters of the Titan Legions have pondered the optimum weapon mixes for battle groups fro thousands of years. Is it better to arm all three titans with weapons of the same range to achieve mass fireqpoer? Or should each titan be tailored to complemetn its fellows and voer thier shortcomings? Innumerable codexes and papers have been written on the subject of Titan armament but individual Princeps adn Grand Masters all harbour their own perceptions of the ideal weapon fit.
Scribes note: Titan Legions include Knights and Tech-guard. (Not mentioned in detail here for the sake of brevity). Titan legions also maintain their own transport ships.

where did you get this stuff?
I normally field titans in groups of three and dont limit that amount I have to a legion. Saying that I dont have so many painted up yet to field more than 4 or 5 for the imperials anyway

This fluff looks like it's straight out of the Titan Legions manual.

Well that does give you a lot of options ! Good find Tas ! But as usual G/W just makes things up as they go along and then makes something else up when it plays into their evil purposes ...

Hi!
I remember those, sound like the TL books. It still gives quite a wide range of to consturct your own Legions.
Then again do you REALLY need GW fluff?
