Hi!
I remember the big "dropship thingie" pic from your website, very cool! Reminds me of that old AT feel you get looking at the conversions they used to make in the real old WD's.
I remember you mentioning once the kits you used to make it, but I cant remember what they were.

Can you tell me which scale was the model your mate simons used ?
I never made tank models, so i don't have a good idea of the average size of a tank in each scale ...

half right
it's a Tamiya SdKfz 222 Armoured Car
and though I would love to take the credit for it, the original concept was in WD (issue 80 odd).

Well I use to build and wargame with Airfix/Mini-tanks etc. in 1/87th-1/72nd scale. I still have them in storage. Large numbers of German, Russian, US, UK etc. Plus I built a lot of 1/35th. So I'm an AFV kind of guy !

Hi!
I doubt I'll ever go back to building kits, I used to buy them when they were 2 bucks or something ridiculous like that in the 70's, the prices I have seen lately dont provide me with motivation to pick them up....

I once built a range of 1/35th vehicles for a skirmish game I was designing. It was a Jurassic Park style game I still have the 1/35th scale dinosaurs (unbuilt) somewhere...
