Okay, just as a reminder, we have about two weeks to go.  It was interesting to see the artwork flood in before the deadline changed and now it has abruptly stopped.  :) I guess nothing makes a person more productive than the last minute.  With 21 entries so far, I am hoping that we will get at least 21 more before the end of the contest.  We need at least 4 more entries to open up a 3rd place slot and add the $25 GW purchase to the prize pool.  Keep it up folks!  

FYI The majority of the artwork submitted is IG with some Necron and very little Dark Eldar.  This is just to inform all of you that -if you want to break from the pack- Dark Eldar or Necron pieces might be a way to go.  But please, if IG is your thing, submit it!!

We've hit the 30 mark for submissions, so there is DEFINITELY going to be a 3rd place prize slot and the $25 GW purchase will be added to the pot.  I wish it could be more (and it can be if anyone wants to make a donation - PM me!).  

And as for the pieces submitted already, I have one word:

hi!! here you have my contribution, it's a low res image. You can email me if you need the hi res image.

It's a necron draw for he necron section, if the style and the image feets with the project feel free to use it! ?:D

If you want I can draw one more for the eldars and one more for the IG.

it's an old image but I think that it should be a good add for the project.

Well, we still have to judge them, but I anticipate seeing at least the top ten a week after the competition, perhaps sooner. :)

The variety is there and we got a lot of submissions, but I wish we had more people involved in the competition (more community involvement).  But the subject matter is a little more unusual than perhaps a supplement on Chaos forces  ot Tyranids or what-have-you.  All in all, I am pleased.

Charad is instrumental to the success of the supplement's modeling section.  I actually sent some pictures of his models (and mine too, which were inspired by and in some cases copied from Charad's work) to Forgeworld...

The response was quite nice - they hinted that the Dark Eldar would probably make an appearance in AI down the line (although no timetable was given nor any information on which models might make the cut).

So who knows?  Charad might be the muse for Forgeworld Dark Eldar in AI/Epic.  :)

I can't wait to see what's been done for this!!!

Good to see there's been a lot of pics submitted though.

I'd like to post some of my pics for this comp up on a few other forums and my DeviantArt account - but I'll wait till the judging has been done first.
