The Brass Scorpion was always my favorite :) I have 6...ok 3 complete ones because by the first 3 GW forgot to add the chainsaw arms and after complaining at the mail order they sended me 3 complete ones...
Yes these where the E40k days...

Hmm... DC2 has historically shown a tendency to be surprisingly vulnerable in Epic.

Personally, I don't think the Khorne Daemon Engine stats are that far off from the WE-version Brass Scorpion - 4+RA, nasty CC weapons and ranged fire comparable to a battle cannon and twin-linked reaper autocannons (though not as long range as the battle cannon, obviously).

I noticed this beast has no dreadnought-cc-weapons and doesn't count as monstrous creature. So it has Strength 10 attacks in CC but doesn't ignore armoursaves. And 5+ RA would be better than 4+ armour i guess. Its armour value is slighty better than a Predators.

As a War Engine, its CC attacks probably automatically ignore armour saves.

I like the mycetic assault brood.  5 deep striking carnies!  :D

Now all I have to do is convince Chroma to allow the formation in epic (with a tyrant to lead them).

ragnarok, your wish is already a "reality", you can do this (multiple times!) with the Phase III "Attack" list!

I'll be updating it in the near future.

I have a very strong urge to make a looted Baneblade/Battlefortress but I'm not sure I want to spend the money on a game I rarely play, especially when I don't even have a 40K Ork force.

I know boss, but it would be fun in a main list to reinforce from above in decent numbers.  Instead of the carnie or two per turn as we have now.

Oh well. a carnie head can dream. (and that raises a good question, what is the name for a nid tread head?)
