With due respect to its author - tips hat - does anyone have any comments and/or feedback on the Adeptus Titanicus III rules?

I would like to create a campaign for a Titan household. A basic system allowing a player to create Titans, weapons and crew, have games which result in detailed damage effects, and then get further resources and adapt the Titans with new equipment, weapons, crew, upgrades and skills. But, there is no point starting from nothing if the ATIII rules allow the game to be played in more detail and with a better feeling than the core rules.

Opinions?

Can't help, still use the AT1 pre codex titanicus rules.

I think it depends on whether you want to fight AT style, almost exclusively titan battles or more general EA style battles.

If you want to use EA, I'd say a mashup of the detailed damage rules that Reaver (I think?) put together a few months ago and the experience/battle honors system I was working on would get you a long way down the road.

I'll be happy to send the files if you like.

AT1 was the best Titan system, IMO ... ATII never really meshed well with E40K, IIRC ...  If I was going do an ATIII, I'd use AT1 as a base ... with the obvious changes, and then some ... :)

Neal. I would like to take a look at the files. Thanks.

I dont really have a basis in mind. I know that I want a game where hit locations are included, and with detailed damage that can carry over between games. I just mentioned ATIII before someone else did.

I am primarily looking at Titan V Titan games at this point.

I guess that I could go back to AT1...
