Just in time for my 3 day wargaming weekend bonanza! :D

(and no, there is no week 5 EA scenario listed for those who were wondering...)

Some more interesting scenarios: Tarawa, Normandy, Okinawa, come to mind.

I can think of some neat models for the Bunkers and Barges, too.

I've had conversations like that on the radio in my distant past...

And as I said, I wish I had time to play it... ?:{

Me too...and I'm thinking we would have been on opposite sides of the "conversation" mate!  :;):

That's very true! ?

Or "Flight Lead" bringing in a serial of lift ships...

- "You just get the birds on the ground!" ?

- "I'll take care of everything else!" ?

- "And where the Hell are the Gunships!" ?

- "Over !"

OK, this week's scenario offering is:

http://us.games-workshop.com/40kuniv....ek7.htm

Probably only 1 more to go, as the campaign finishes at the end of the month.

Enjoy!

Is anyone going to archive or otherwise save these scenarios in case they remove the web site after the EoT campaign ends?

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I was thinking more along the lines of a sweeping tank battle on the North African plains myslef...

Yes Maksim, I'm saving them

Yes, but North Africa (one of my favorite theaters of study), never had the numbers of the Eastern Front. ?

However, they give you a wide berth for terrain set-up!

Sand dunes, ash waste piles, rolling hill etc., it's up to you... :D ?

BTW, I was deployed to the desert 2 or 3 times...

Hate IT! ?Hate IT!

Hey ALL of Northern and Central Australia is desert....yuko  :l

I agree the massed armour battles of the Eastern Front are without parrallel, but the terrain was the memory trigger for me...

I'd LOVE to play a realistic scale Kursk game with all the defences, minefields etc.  Finally I could use ALL my superheavy armour in the same battle!

Well the closest I want to get to a desert is my "Abydos" terrain pieces! ?

If I ever get to your side of the planet, we'll stay near your wonderful beaches, Tas! ?

Well the big Tank bash at Prokhorovka during the Kursk battles, 5-17 July 1943, 700 AFVs of the German 4th Panzer Army met 850 tanks of the 5th Guards Tank Army...

That would be a very BIG Epic battle! ?:o

A cursory calculation shows that tread to tread, such a force would blanket a tennis court!?

Never mind the cost and time to paint them! :p
