I'm pretty sure I've seen stats somewhere for the CI, but for the life of me I can't remember where.

The stats I got were on the old AM/TL rules/lists ... IIRC !

CAn either of you remember what they were like? Is my proposed CI in the right ballpark?

Version 1.2

No rules mods yet, but I made it prettier.

If anyone has them, I'm after painted pictures of the following (They have to be on a gaming /scenic table and moderate quality):

Salamander Scout
Salamander Command Vehicle
Leman Russ Conqueror
Destroyer Tank Hunter
Thunderer Siege Tank
StormSword
StormHammer
Warhound Titan with inferno gun & turbolaser
Reaver Titan with 3x Rockets.
The two configs of Fighter Aircraft.

That way I can photoshoppify them and make them all pretty. :)

Apologies to the people who's pictures I've borrowed, I don't have all that many models from this list (Yet!).

The CI was in the early Steel LEgion list but was dropped late on in the design process due to budget reasons. I'm sure the stats have been posted several times on this site as well as the SG forum. IIRC it is no more than a couple of weeks since they were last posted. I can't ?remember which thread though but a bit of searching sould turn out something.

Thanks Warmaster!

This looks like the AMTL version but I assume most of the stats were unchanged.

Any idea what the points cost of this beast was to be? I'm thinking 500 points would be a solid starting place.

Looking really good E&C!  Also like the CI stats- particularly the first strike CC/FF.  Makes for a very differents style of war engine and fits in well with the list.

And cheers to you for putting this together so well and quickly!  Now it just needs to be play tested :)

I like the list, and the PDF, it really shows what the death corp is like.

However (there ia always an however isn't there  :) ) I do have two suggestions

1) Should the DoK commanders have leader rather than commander?  The DoK are known for not giving up and fighting on regardless.

Leader will allow them to shed an extra BM and get on with dying for the emperor.

2) I like what you have done with allowing FW leman russes.  However they are surpose to be incredible rare variants (Ryza is the only place that still has companies of executioners).  IG armoured regiments might be able to muster together half a dozen of them (or any other variant), but they are unlikely to put them all together.

What about having a system similiar to the steel legion where the armoured company is 10 leman russ.  With any number being replaced by demolishers and upto three by any other variant.

Possibly... but the Krieg army will already have access to Commissars & Salamander Command Vehicles to provide Leader... giving the basic Commander Leader as well might make them too good? It's worth thinking about though.

I was thinking of having Commissars as a paid-for upgrade rather than the '2d6 no matter the size of your army' rule?

While three variants are rare (Executioner, Vanquisher & Tank Destroyer), the other variants seem fairly common. 0-3 per formation for the Rare varients sound like a good compromise? (With Upgrade detachments not allowed rares at all).
