Magnus is not just a mere Daemon Prince... he is a Primarch - augmented by thousands of years of chaos exposure and research into the dark sorceries. In his battle on the world of Prospero when he called to Tzeentch he was transformed in a huge giant and his eye beams carved through the ranks of the Space Wolves, if Russ hadn't slain him, he could very well have turned the tide. In SM/TL he had a 'Eye Beam' attack which hit on 2+ and had a huge save mod... it also had a range of 100cm he was a titan killer and just melted super heavy vehicles on sight. He was also pretty much unkillable with the use of Chaos cards. The reason why primarchs are out of Epic:A is because they are purely too powerful - I don't mind them (I wanna use my new Magnus model) as long as the points are high enough. They are also left out as he tends to rule from his throne and the Primarchs don't tend to leave there new homes in the warp. They have stagnated into lethagy in my mind. There are others I am sure who will say that they are scheming though! ![]() _________________ Tom Webb Author Page: http://www.newtonwebb.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/thewebb Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/thenewtonwebb Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/thenewtonwebb |

There you go an abbreviated version of the tale. He knew the assasin was coming, but cleared the way for her, he allowed her to complete her job to prove a point... kinda extreme but I am sure he felt it was worth it! _________________ Tom Webb Author Page: http://www.newtonwebb.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/thewebb Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/thenewtonwebb Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/thenewtonwebb |

Naaahhh. Magnus is really camped out at his pad eating Twinkies and playing X-box. He's lost the will to intervene any longer in the world! ![]() Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. _________________ 6mm Sci-fi: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/6mm ... nWarGames/ My Personal Blog: http://6mm-minis.blogspot.com/ |

I heard it was because Andy Chambers really really liked Apocalypse Now... -Periodic. Powerful military unit acting independantly suddenly stops following orders, committing atrocities lead by a charismatic and brilliant Commander Kurtz*cough* I mean Kurze. Then the military that spawned him sends an assassin to kill him... where have I heard this before? ![]() |
