The second objective a spore Chimney. I'm tempted to darken its flesh a bit, despite the fact my nids flesh is quite light, this much looks to light.

Finally for the objectives and my favourite. A trapped prey-thing leader-beast. All ready for a Lictor team to go in and retive his brain

I would not darken it too much if the colors match your army paint scheme. Let the army colors dictate the colors of the chimney. That way it looks like they came from the same gene pool so to speak.
Just my .02
In any case, I think they look great.

A Harridan, converted from a Gargoyle. A simple conversion. The head iscut off and repositioned, with its crest removed. And a pair of flesh borers are added to the mid-wing

My complete Avian-force. A mere 5 Harridans at the moment (only 1120pts of synapse creatures )
Planning on adding at least three more and three Vituperators, using FW winged warriors. Then all I need is a few hundred gargoyles

Next up the Dactylis mark II. The hive mind got annoyed with prey-things calling its artillery dead chickens. So replaced the arms with guns. Now it looks like it has eye stalks
