And so battle clouds brew above the striken ruins of a once proud city called Bosch... Mighty War Machines growl their engines above the din of a thousand warriors readying for war....
I've got a couple of 1500pt battles lined up today. My Siegemasters with a different army list, BR33's Orks and my brother's Ultramarines. I'll hopefully be able to post up some reportage by the middle of this week.

Its always good to see a battle put into some perspective.
I'm almost done on the text, just done the basics now need to pad it out a little and make it more readable.

Right, finally - the first of two bat reps!!!

We both had Blitzkrieg Objectives to capture in eachother's deployments zones. The Orks had a knocked-out Battle Fortress to capture and my Siegemasters had a bunker to capture.
I deployed my Regimetal HQ on my left flank within some ruins. Supporting them were my Ragnoraks. Infantry Comp Alpha was deployed in the centre in ruins, ready to advance and take bunker immediately to their front, to their right I deployed Infantry Company Beta to act as support. I deployed my Artillery Batteries at the rear, as well as my Siegfrieds,StormHammer and Rough Riders.
The Orks had their two Stormboyz bands both within cover in the centre of their battle line, ready to pounce on the bunker. To their right were the Stompas, poised to go for the BattleFortress obj. The big Warband was to the rear of the Stormboyz. The two Dethkopta ?Brigades were deployed on either flank.

Turn One.
The Orks started off with both of their Stormboyz bands jumping in to take the bunker. In reply, my Siege artillery batteries opened up on the bunker's position killing a few Stormboyz stands.
Seeing the Stormboyz being pounded, the Warband marched forward, taking up position at the generator.
The DethKoptas on the left flank sped forward to outflank the Siegemaster's main line of resistance, seeing the rag-tags machines hovering into view, the Ragnoraks sustained fire and destroyed most of them, sending the survivors fleeing.
My RegimentalHQ doubled and fired upon the Stormboyz band on the ridge, knocking two DethKoptas out of the sky.
The Stompa crews added more coal into their boilers and moved towards bunker.
The Rough Riders marched up to the front, with the RegimentalHQ on their right. Infantry Company Alpha fired upon Bunker with their heavy stubbers, killing more StormBoyz.
My Siegfrieds doubled to the right flank and killed two grots from Warband with their multilaser fire. The StormHammer doubled its massive bulk and opened up on StormBoyz, killing more. Infantry Company Beta moved forward to support the super heavy tank in case of any suprise assaults.

Turn two.
The StormBoyz assaulted Infantry Company Alpha who were within the ruins in front of the bunker; but were wiped out in the combat. The other StormBoyz band attempted to assault the Ragnoraks, but were unable to dent the heavily armoured tanks, they all fell beneath the heavy firepower of the lumbering behemoths.
My Artillery batteries opened up on the Warband, killing many Orks. Trying to seek some cover from the bombardment, the Warband marched to the bunker. Carefully tracking the Orks with its massive turrets, the StormHammer fired at Warband, finishing off all the Grots in a cloud of explosives gases; leaving some smoking shoes and a stinking green mist.
The clunking Stompas fired at Infantry Company Alpha, killing a stand, the ruins protecting the others.
Regimental HQ marched to the BattleFortress objective and the RoughRiders marched up the left flank, intent upon the distant blitz objective.
DethKoptas moved up the left flank after failing initiative. Watching them hove into view, my Siegfrieds fired upon them, killing one. Seeing their opposite number, the Ragnoraks fired at Stompas but did nothing. Infantry Company Beta crept towards the bunker.
