I dunno. Changing out all their heads for beakie heads would be mondo cool, but I don't know if I'm up for that level of fiddliness.

Quote (Warmaster Nice @ 16 Nov. 2005 (14:24)) | Brilliant minds think alike Neal! I was just looking at the rest of my IG assault troops the other day, thinking about how they coyuld be used as Raptors. I was thinking maybe adding the odd cc weapon such as beastmen axes, or swords from pieces of plastic. Im not sure if/how much converting the rest would need-heads in particular.
Cheers. | Hi!
While that would definitely be cool. The amount of work and extra epic pieces for conversion seems somewhat high.

If you look at the beakie head on the Space Marine Assault trooper it is fairly basic. I think it can be achieved by placing a blob of Green stuff, making two "cuts at the bottom to make it pointy and then making one cut across (perhaps two at an angle) for the eyes. Of course doing 40 of them might be a bit daunting.

That hasn't stopped me before

I don't think it would be too bad if it is just the odd figure in a total of 40 figures. But I see the problem if you were to do a Primarchload
Hmmm... I'm getting more and more turned on by this idea! Does anydody have some good pics of the 40k scale Raptors?
Cheers!
