Yes, I'm getting a copy for Tas, as I called and G/W US has them in stock. If I can do this for anyone else, let me know. It will be at cost + post and Paypals (or I could accept other payment methods [I'm easy!]). Let me know soon, as I will be making the order Sunday ... IIRC, it cost $20.00 USD. I will make a $100 order to get 0 post. I will not pay $11 post ! So any extra models I order I will sell at cost + post and P/Ps ... Well LMK if there is anything anyone wants ... I'm willing to help Epic Brothers out !

The decision to go all-.pdf was made after the Swordwind printing was in process. I feel certain they went with the minimum order they could manage without causing contract problems or significant variations in their projected margins.
It's actually been in stock for 6 months or so.

For anyone who wants a bound copy of a .pdf-only file that GW makes, I checked with some professional printers and as long as you can show proof that it is 1) your copy, or 2) public access, they will print and bind copyrighted materials.
If you are in the US, you can even email them the file and store location and they will have it printed and waiting for you to pick up.

I saw somewhere that they were removed.
But wait for someone with more accurate info to confirm or deny that.
Perhaps some forum member has them and could send them to you?

IIRC Swordwind was a two part pdf file...
I have both on my home computer. I'll upload them tonight when I get home from work and post a link to them here in this thread .

Well... IMNSHO not only do the new specialist games forums blow the webmaster kind of cheated on the redo.
All he did was repath some of the directory structures rather than a complete overhaul from scratch. 
So in other words Swordwind *is* still on the SG website. As long as you know the name of the file your looking for you can still get is. So...

I sure hope they fix those types soon. It looks awfull.
Considering that the are moving to online support only the least they could do is provide PDFs in the same quality as the printed books.
You don't just "accidentally change and squeeze" the types like that! It's just not possible. I suppose it is an incentive for people to buy the printed version but when that's no longer available?

Actually, what probably happened is that they forgot to "embed fonts" when they printed to .pdf, so Adobe (or Quark, or whatever they use) grabbed a default font, so the spacing and such is all screwed up. As many conspiracies as there are about GW, I don't think hostile typesetting is a valid one. *laugh*
