Anyone know what topic this originally came up in previously? Most of the questions here are pretty similar so perhaps it might be helpful if we could link back to that discussion so people could see what was said there.

Dafrca can you remember where it was?

Currently there is one issue that needs to be resolved with the current list and then it will be sent to the Vault. Once we have some public commentary on it then it will go back to development. I'll be sending out more invites at that point to the private group. Its smaller than I would like at the moment but we have had some very good additions in the last few weeks and I think that with a few more people it will make a nice core group that will enable us to get tested changes out for public comment faster.

Some quick response.

Given that Neal is in the group I really don't know why people think I'm not getting any contrary opinions :-)

The group is a first step in testing and development. The idea being that a smaller focused group can get preliminary ideas hammered out and prepared for a second stage of public testing.

While the list isn't "mine" the responsibility for getting it ready on time is and I didn't see that happening with only public and open responses. That process has proven itself to be far too messy and chaotic to be used to meet a deadline.. This is my attempt to make sure that we meet the deadlines that Jervis has set for us.

Anyone who wants to be in on the private group can certainly feel free to email me and discuss the possibility. I've already drawn up a list of people I want to ask for the next round of testing but its not a closed list and I will also be asking for names from others as well to make sure that I get a wider range of opinions in the testing process.

Hi PG and Tactica,

I deleted both of your abusive posts.

Please leave disputes from the old E-A playtest boards in the grave. Do not import them here.

It doesn't matter who starts it, just don't do it. Report it to a moderator and we'll delete the offending post/s as warranted. Please keep your conversations on the subject/topic matter (fun wargaming).

I appreciate the one of you who used the moderator system here to report the abusive posts.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

But that does fit the theme. Chaos...  :p

Sorry PG, I could not help myself.

Hi all,
earlier this week I had deleted a section of a post in this thread; I did not originally realise that some of the deleted text was quoted in a reply by NealHunt. I felt that it is only fair to remove the quotes, and directly related text, as the original post from which they are taken is now unavailable on Epicomms. Please note that NealHunt's now-edited response had nothing offensive to Epicomms or its members.
I apologise for the messy way in which this has been handled by myself - please note that this part of the moderator activity within this thread was my doing, and not Maksim's or CS, and that I take the full responsibility for it.

No apology necessary as far as I'm concerned.  I went ahead and deleted the no out-of-context responses as well.
