OK good point. Let me put it another way.
Look good Tuffskull or Jimbo style, or look good three plus colors?
The reason I ask is, I could play at the 3 colors, I would fail to look as good as many I have seen on this board.

No, they need not be "museum" quality. But some standard should be met. Three colors sound good.
