Man, you are EASILY at the pace I was 3 years back.
You're definitely "primarch-ready". | Ah, but I will never be The Primarch.

Hi dafcra, just popped back to the forum after a busy period away from it... sorry to hear of your personal troubles, I hope you and your wife can make some progress with it all. It sounds as though you are getting the right sort of support and process under way at any rate.
Good to have you back on the forums again as well!

Yes, we are making headway. It is not easy, but she is worth it.

Well, won some more old style IG support stands. They are Rapiers and Tarantulas on old stands with old style IG gunners. Not as good as a deal as the Marines, but I liked them.
I have re-organized the non-Imperials. Man, I had a lot of them. Eldar troops and Ork troops were about neck and neck. Orks had more Super Heavies and the Eldar had more normal vehicles.
I was looking over an old copy of Morrow Project. Too funny. When I bought it, much of the stuff was cutting edge. Not any more.
I also located a copy of an old game I had called IDF. It along with the two copies of MBT allowed me to fight some large scale battles. Board games with chits and flat maps, they can be fun too you know.
All the talk on the one thread about Hammer?s Slammers has gotten me to pull out my old copy and set to re-reading the whole series.
Hope all have fun!

I used to have both MBT and IDF but sold them to make more room for reference books and mini rules.
MBT seemed also to have a serious underestimation problem with soviet tanks. IIRC a T-80 was unable to even scratch the paintwork of a basic M1.

Hi Dafrca,
I have both MBT and IDF and like both games... still on the shelf. IDF was great for armor warfare.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Not that the M1 is not a good tank, just the balance was too far to the Blue side.
But dispite the problems, I played Russian and won at times.

I also loved the Assault and Boots and Saddle set, but sold it when I wqs in school to finance some other stuff. Wish I had kept them.
