Quote (Legion 4 @ 14 2005 June,21:23) | Speaking of terrain, I just got my Armorcast order (Thanks Daf!) ?The stuff is absolutely outstanding ! ?He even threw in a couple extra pieces ! ?Buy now, cause after 30 June 05, they are out of the terrain biz ! ? | Glad to help!
I agree, some of their stuff is just great. It can get pricy, but their stuff is usualy clean and very low levels of bubbles etc.

Work on the Celestian lasted till 2 AM... again.
However, the model is almost done by now, and I'll surely get her finished by tomorrow.
The skull for the base is ready, altough it's been a pain to put it together because of some additions I wanted to make (horns and fangs to bring out a demonic aspect to it).
I'm seriously thinking of selling the miniature after the contest. The sheer amount of work would bring me some nice cash. Or maybe get 5 more models, paint them up too and sell the whole squad. Dunno yet.
Bought a box of Chaos Space Marines today. So another position is crossed off the list.

Severe case of insomnia yesterday. Thus I ended up painting in 9 PM - 4 AM.
Sister is nearly done. Today I'll just have to do the patternings on the lower legs and, if time permits, some extra freehand here and there.
The skull went together right, it's painted now, but I'll have to spend some extra time to get it right. Took a lot of glazes and washes. In a brief surge of inspiration, I added a red trickle under one of the eyes. Demon skull weeping with blood? Why not.

Hi,
Took my 'uge box of Orks out today to get back into painting them, but not before arranging them out on my table (pictures taken, on their way). I have just over 9k assembled, with at least another 2.5k still in blisters and on sprues. That's quite nice, but not as nice as the fact that I could arrange just the six 'Uge Warbands base-to-base across an entire 6ft wide board, 4 ranks deep! Not quite sure how that tactic would work, but I might give it a go for a laugh one day.
Cheers, Freshmetal
