Hi!
I'm really liking those bases.
Are they sold separately?

Hi Peter,
The FOW bases are sold separately.

Primarch | To quote myself from a few pages back...
Quote (dafrca @ 05 2005 June,20:17) | Yes, they sell a mixed pack, or packs with just with one type. They have small, med. and large bases.
Their Web Store has the bases if you do not have a local supplier. My last order took 6 working days to arrive. Not bad from NZ to USA.
Mixed Pack has: 6 Small bases (32mm x 25mm), 18 Medium bases (50mm x 32mm) and 3 Large bases(64mm x 50mm).
The one type packs have: Small: 54 Bases Med: 26 Bases Large: 16 Bases
And the packs are $8.00 USD each.
Man, I sound like such a Fanboy...

Now I feel even more like a Fanboy.

Quote (centurion @ 11 2005 June,18:51) | ...well finished up some test pieces of my vehicles mounted on FOW bases. Will probably redo the LR, something is not quite right ? | OK, I have gone back and looked at the Land Raider a couple of times. I do not see anything wrong with it. I would think that unless there is an issue with the paint scheme, it is fine. You picked the right base for it. It fits into the scheme with the Rhino.
Maybe it is just you are being hard on yourself?
In any even, looks good to me.

I think they make good bases regardless of the game. I do own FoW, but I could see using them as Striker II bases or for Epic as you have done.

Quote (primarch @ 12 2005 June,18:04) | Of course buying enough bases for my "collection" may backrupt me.... ? | Nah, just have to do it in waves. What will hurt is all the flocking you will have to do.

Cleaned out some boxes today. Found some Marines I did not remember I had. Eight new Stands of Termies just joined my small Marine army.

Been training for Quake and polishing my config with extra keybinds and aliases. Right now I have a few super-aliases just waiting to be unleashed...
The Celestian is progressing. Helmet, neckguard and shoulderpads are done, the backpack will follow soon.
Reading Amber tome 9 right now.

Quote (Jimbo @ 15 2005 May,21:28) | Having used a mixture of polyfilla (wall filler), white glue, brown paint, model railway ballast, model railway coal and some water I added the mixture to the board.

Once this was dry, I spray painted the board.

I first used black spray, then a dark earth and finally a grey spray.
I now have to dry brush the terrain.
Due to a few gaps in the terrain I will be making this a green landscape with lots of foilage. | Here is the next stage. Note that this is still a work in progress and it is unfinished.
Since the last picture was taken I have drybrushed the rock face and the rocks with various shades of grey.
I then with a brush put some PVA (white glue) down before covering it with a Woodland Scenics grass flock.

This is a close-up of the Ork vehicle in the terrain.

Still needing to add some more foliage and some different flock to get a more natural feel.
