Hi all, just for Maksim, Tas, and Dafrca and IBLISDRAX, and all the other Kaijaru araound, a Kaiju model thread. Having been bitten, here's a VERY useful collection of beasties - small, but great as lesser threats, sidekicks, subplots, etc. The croc, the only one I've assembled, is 10cm long (very curvy tail, though). The baby Rex and baby Parasaurolophus are about the same length, and 6-7cm high. Very small, for Epic scale, but they have their uses. AND they're Japanese! ? I knew I'd appreciate them some day....
My Kaiju #1 is something very different - you'll be seeing it by the weekend, I hope. ?

Hi Daniel,
I use monsters that are scaled between 2" to 4" with smaller beasties coming from 25-28mm scale. I avoid the bigger Kaiju toys since 4" or smaller scales really well with 6mm or 10mm minis (the bulk of my collection!).
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

I too use 3-4" high beatsies- which elts me use my plethora of 6mm terrain and minis.
Its also because thats the size of the official Bandai Godzilla figs, fortuitously.
Looking forward to seeing your #1 there V!
On the other hand, I use anythign to hand regardless of scale, includign elgo for buildings (which can be authentically smashed up!), pladstci army guys, matchbox cars, palstci dinos etc etc etc:D

OK, raided the big Box of Toys last night long with my minis I don't need but can't let go of box. Came up with some great stuff.
I have a Tank bug from Starship Troopers that is about 2.5" long. a Dino of some sort that is looking for it's next meal that is about 3" long. and a few other assorted things that could "smash" a 6mm tank to bits.
Pictures to follow.

Did not get to do pictures, sorry. I will try for Saturday.
I did go have a look at the rules sets you guys were talking about. So do I need both supplaments to play Monsters vs. Troops? Can I do it with just the basic book?

You need the Escape from Monster Island, along with the original rules. I am patiently waiting for my copy to arrive...

I do like having the rulebook in hand, though. Shiny! They have a 2-for 1 sale on right now, basically you get the original MI rulebook and the Escape expansion for the price of one book.

Today I received an Invite to go to a luch with some folks from my company. So what you ask? Because we always drive ourselves. Why does this matter you ask? Because then dafrca can do some shopping after lunch. Again, So what you say? Lunch is in little Tokyo.
I am going to be looking at a few of the toy and DVD/Collector stores.
