Hey Tas,

When you get a chance, PM me with a count of the number of blood bowl teams you have, the number of players per team, and the number of Big guys (who don't fit into a normal 28mm mini-holder).

I have a idea (has to do with a BB stadium now that my bricks have gone into the surplus side of things) and when I get ideas it is generally held to be a dangerous time.
:)

best regards

Dalton

I heartily recommend them, though they are very simplistic and I have my own ideas about some additions and campaign rules.

Simplistic is just what I need. He is 4 1/2 years old and very, um, lively. And we could say he'd be perfect for the next Spider Man movie. He'd do all the stunts himself... :O

Well he is exactly the same age as Reilly then (DOB Jan 01) who adores Spiderman.  Indeed, any superhero!  Luckily I've moved him onto Star Wars, kaiju and dino hunting now!

Think you'll find S.Safari just the thing - Northstar had the rulebook across the world and at my door within a week

I look fwd to chatting with you about rules changes too!

Good Hunting!

I found another interesting game: Pirates of the Spanish Main. Granted, the ships are a bit fragile for a 4,5 -year old but the game is so simple it's worth trying. Plus it provides a nice stepping stone to more detailed naval games...  }:)

We played a test game in Sunday; Pirate queen Elisa (aged 6,5) thoroughly trashed British fleet admiral Oskari's (aged 4,5) ship in gun duel and grabbed most of the treasure from wild island.

P.S. Even though the "constructible" sounds really bad, in this case it is not. The kids won't care too much about which ships they have.  :;):

Again I can chip in with saying that I really like Pirates of the Spanish Main. We got into it at our local club as we play most of the other WK games. I picked up a couple of booster packs and found had enough for usable fleet straight away.

The aim of the game is to collect as much gold as possible. But in true Legion club style we usually just pick the biggest ships we can each field, slap on as many extra cannoneers & musketteers as possible, and then just blast the timbers out of each other.

The ships are a bit fiddly to take out of the cards. Most of our club members just leave them assembled in plastic storage box. That way you lose less masts to breakages.

Not a serious game that you would spend a lot of time/money on. But we usually play it at the end of the evening once all of the 40k/WFB/Epic etc games have finished. Its a good excuse to sit around drinking coffee and shouting out all cheesy Pirate phrases you can think of.

Cheers

James

And in between my 12 hr watches - I've got 1900-0700 yuck! - apart from sleeping of course, Ive been Playing 'Wings over France" a very amusing solo WW1 Aviation game in which you run a RAF squadron around the Arras region in "Bloody April" of 1917 hunting, and being hunted by the Boche!

Its a bit dice intensive but a great fun game!:D

It could be a great conversion for an epic fighter game actually....

I sympathize, Tas.  Those are the hours I have been working for a while now, and they will wear you out.  Course, my normal hours (2250-0700) aren't too much better.  :O

Thanks for the sympathy guys!  Being in the Senior Service of course, we had to pamper to those in the softer Corps and give them the day watches...

Whats really ticking me off is that I'm at an Air Force Base () so during the day the pilot pukes go tearing around in their fighters and disturb my minimal sleep.  Overpaid meatheads....

Yes Maksim- its a lot of fun.  Have bagged me a few Huns already!
