Hi!
Yep, 35 bucks is awesome. Deals can be had, although luck seems to be more of a factor then it used to be. I made a career of finding and acquiring loads of cheap epic blisters. I have clean out may a store back in the days. Of course I think the availability of old stock is fastly becoming a rarity in present times.

Luck and timing. I lost out on getting an SM-2 Eldar Warhost box, because someone outbid me before I could get back to my computer before the auction ended.
Outbid by a lousy 50 cents!

Timing. Probably a lot more significant than luck. I dont buy on e-bay much. I did so heavily after Epic 40k's demise. Epic was practically being given away.
The last truely good deals were several months prior to epic A's release.

My last "great" deal was four full armies for $50.

I must admit I sold off the Chaos army to finance an Imperial expansion. 
One of the tricks I use is I watch for an auction with a ton of stuff. If it closes without any bids, I send the owner an offer at a lower amount. Sometimes they take it and some times they do not.

I know it sucks but look on it this way- they might have outbid you by 10 bucks and 50 cents!!
I have been sniped so many times over the years on ebay- most recently on some Mechwarrior/Heroclix stuff last night. I have learnt the hard way that if someone outbids your maximum, then be prepared to wave goodbye and hope that a similar auction comes along soon...

A lot of people have a hard time understanding this. That is why I like to put the max I will pay and let fate deside if it is mine.
