I think we need to just pick a place on the East Cost of the US and all go there for a week-end long Epic game. Everyone bring what you can.
dafrca | I have family outside of DC.
If anyone is really interested in setting up an EpiComms get together somewhere in that region, please let me know. Several months' notice will probably be required, but I would gladly do what I can to make it.
Allen McCarley (former Q&A guy for E40K) lives near there also. And as I recall, there are one or two people from this board in that area.
It would be awesome to show up in force at, say, Baltimore Games Day, with enough EA players to run an RTT.

Umm... why would it matter if it was GW sponsored. I would think you would be okay with it as a strong Epic showing would be likely to encourage them to support the line.

Of course, we long haul travellers would need more than a single event to justify such a journey. ?I'd opt for a round robin tourney of 4 different cons, in different areas, interpersed with battlefield tours and tourist trips.
And the occaisional beer or two of course

They did not support any of the "Specialist" games at all. It was as if they did not exist.
