Hi all, being too lazy for Googlification, can anyone demonstrate the existence of model ships (and beasties) for the Spelljammer extension to Dungeons and Dragons?

I dont think I have ever seen any. Have you any information that they may have existed?

Hi Primarch, no, in fact, all I've ever seen are the card cutouts in the boxed sets. Not bad, but I prefer my models a bit more 3-D. They'd make for some nice ships, too.

Hi!
Ah, I see. I have followed D&D minis pretty closely over the years and I'm pretty sure they have never made "official" minis for spelljammer. I wounder though if some proxies exist. I'll look around.

I like Spelljammer but I haven't seen any minis so far.

Hi Guys,
Try Space 1889 and the VSF games for "skyships."
The only Spelljammer models that I remember were foldable paper ones - no minis.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi!
Maksim's recommendations are the closest I can think of that would fit this genre.

Hi guys, thanks for the help. Yesterday I unearthed all the old sets I had, and the books and stuff - I never played it, but I'm not regretting the purchase (especially as it was at a great discount at the time!). The shameful thing is I only just realised that 'The War Captains compendium' includes rules for space battles beyond RPG..... doh! For those not inthe know, by the way, Spelljammer comes from D&D, and extends their realms to space, which is crossed by all sorts of archaic ships and things propelled by Spelljammer helms. Think Man O' War in space or Battlefleet Gothic Fantasy! The Citadel could certainly be a good Squat vessel.... The saddest thing is that I'd had an idea for constructing a small Beholder Tyrant ship (using Nid bits, of course), so now I want a few other options to oppose them! And then I wondered whether a Warmaster scale ship would look good... and .....

There were some very funky ships in Spelljammer, if anyone actually made figs that would be very cool. If you have a go at those ships Vanvlak, please post pics!

I love Spelljammer! I was able to DM some Spelljammer adevetures with my (now defunct) D&D group. I bought just about everything there was for it. Sadly, no minis were ever produced.
