I have played through it, and it is pretty cool. You can actually win as the Marines, unlike the box set. 
Unfortunately, you cannot play as the 'stealers, but maybe someday...

I think that I have one set of second edition, one set of Genestealer, two sets of Deathwing and four sets of Space Hulk first edition. I have enough board sections to capret a large room, and enough Genestealers to populate it!
A very cool game. Was the Aliens game the one on the square board with cardboard stand-ups and the final queen-out-the-airlock scene. I have that somewhere...

Eww. This looks ugly. Wolfenstein 3D springs to mind.
The 13-year-old computer implementation I still have (and sometimes play) was dozen times better looking.
