In your upper left corner is the "Your control panel" option. Click on it.
Then click on "personal info" and then "Avatar options".
There you will be able to upload an avatar from your own PC. Unfortunately I cannot remember the exact dimentions for the pic but I think it's something like 60x60 pixels. Maybe it says so in thee control panel... cant remember.
Anyway I hope this helps
