Hi folks
Have a read of this thread over on the epic forum Shining Spear thread.
So as you can see i will be having some extra shining spear exarchs knocking around. Any body want to trade for some?
If i still dont get the right number of normal shining spears i want, then i'll be in need of bog standard shining spears.

Hmmm, I suppose I'd better check mine, I hadn't realised that there were any Exarchs in the blister so A) I didn't get any or B) I've not looked closely enough, either is possible and I've not even opened the second blister yet What are the differences between standard SS and Exarch?

The Exarchs got some sort of hheadgear. I also thought those were the norm at first but then I discovered the SS with regular "pointy 'eads" helmets. I'm writing up an E-mail to ask GW for replacements today. Not that I have a big problem with this. Using the Exarchs as regular SS isn't any problem to me but after all they ARE mispackaged...
Cheers!

So there are 3 types in the box ? One Exarch and two versions of the troops ?

As far as I can tell, yes. The variation on the standard SS are minimal. Just a small addition to the carapace of the bike.
Cheers!

Right a little after easter i'll sort out who wants what if any one, Neal Hunt and Splash(?) have got claim to some, but i am sure there will be plenty to go around.
L4: The shining spears come 3 to a sprue (are they still called sprues even though they are metal?), each slightly different, but only with a different spear or 'bump' on the canopy. The exarchs also come 3 to a sprue but i cant spot any differences what so ever.
Currently i have got 10 shining spear exarch sprues and 2 shining spear sprues. With GW kindly posting another 3 blister packs, which will be here some time after easter, in an effort to get me some actual shining spears.
I really hope i dont end up with 25 exarch sprues and 5 shining spear sprues.

Right folks its after Easter and GW have delivered the freebie SSpear blisters to me. And this is what i have ended up with in total:
24 SSpear exarch sprues 6 SSpear sprues
Im going to keep 4 exarch sprues for myself and obviously the SSpears so that leaves a grand total of 20 SSpear exarch sprues up for grabs.
Unfortunately i've already said a mate i game with has 1st refusal and Neal Hunt and Splash have some too. However any body want any that are left form an orderly line please.
Trading wise i dont think i need much else for my armies, however things i may be interested in:
Warmaster stuff (heard its a good game but i dont have an army yet) Necromunda - escher/delaque in particular 40k - metal terminators (yeah im a Deathwing player) epic - erm?

I believe I have one Delaque figure (a ganger iirc) in my Necromunda boxes Doc, would you like to trade it for a few sprues?
