well, strange as it may seem, i think the prices for some epic minis have actually drop...
I notice the land raiders are now 15? for 4 models, i could have sworn they were 20? not long ago.
Has anyone noticed this too ?

BFG has gone up slightly recently...at least in the states...They had been $8-9/blister but they all went up to $10 when every other blister did...I have a friend who owns a store and went through to figure out pricing...between 40K and WFB there were about 1 dozen blisters total under $10...
With the UK price hike I'd be surprised if it wasn't going the same way...

They will continue to raise prices until someone in their accounting department does an elasticity of demand analysis and decides they could make more money by dropping the price and indreasing volume.
I suspect it will be years before that happens.

That won't happen as long as people continue to buy the minis regardless of the cost. I've heard rumors that states are contemplating the move to "GW-mini standard" in their economies... 
Me, I'm using eBay anyway.

The news is full of comments thatthe new world bank boss, is being labelled as a wolf - they havn't heard of GW yet it seems!

Err, we may get the original armies (ie, Nids, Chaos) from the Epic40k molds, but under the current situation, I seriously doubt any entirely new army will ever come from SG. Forgeworld, maybe. I hope the situation changes sometime in the future, but it doesnt look pretty.
But I still have hope.
