Sorry to hear that, Maksim ... but you and I both know, we never know what the future holds. In the long run, it will probably work out for the best...
Again, best of luck... ? ?
We'll be flying CAS for ya'! ? ?

Hi Guys,
I do have plans. I'm going to go out and apply for positions in other areas and move to an apartment in the area I get hired in.
Some good news though is that I have finally received transcripts from previous schooling and that the school district will have to bump me up to the second-highest pay grade and give me back pay. That's pleasurable news. It's also worth a good lump of change. Of course, it only lasts until the end of this school year when I have to go looking again.
I'm very nervous about looking because the market is tight right now; more teachers than jobs. At least I'm no longer in the catch-22 of needing experience to get a job and needing a job to get experience.
Diana thinks there's a better place for me elsewhere. I'm trying to keep my spirits up as well. If only teaching was more about children and not adminsitration and cruddy politics.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Bummer dude, hopefully it has been a valuable learning experience you will be able to take with you in the future.
I have great admiration for teachers, you have to deal with dozens of kids many of whom probably have issues which disrupt the class. I counsel people who are suicidal or have other serious issues, but at least it is one on one rather than having to deal with multiple people!

Hi Markco,
Bummer dude, hopefully it has been a valuable learning experience you will be able to take with you in the future. |
The more I think about it, the better it probably is. I can use a fresh start and I've been toiling away for this school district far too long for the scant appreciation that has been shown me. I am a good teacher.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

That's why I feel sorry for the children. They'll get some yes-man (or woman) of the principal.

Bad luck on the current situation and good luck for the future job hunt. My wife is also a teacher and she always says the job would be perfect 'cept for the petty policking.

I put out my first batch of job applications yesterday and looked into unemployment since the market is in a bad place.

Hi Guys,
I'm just getting by. the good news is that noone else seems to understand it. My colleagues think that it's a crock.
Robla district seems to be looking for people. I'm going to try and follow that lead after school today.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.
