Finished the GK Termies. Still need to do the bases though. As you can see a lot of the detail has been ruined -especially arround the heads and torso of the minis. ?:(
Apart from that I'm pretty happy with these models. They sure are an improvement over my old GKs.
Cheers! ?:)

Those are pretty good for 40k scale. When are you going to do some Epic scale ones?

What do you mean? Those ARE Epic scale???!!!
:oo
Stunning.....

Thanks for sharing

James

Base painted some giant mushrooms from GZG and Grendel. You just can't have too many on those on far off alien worlds ! ?Also base painted (Panzer Gray, of course!) my E:A Vanq to go with and existing L/Russ Plt. ?So along with 3 dets of SM Flak Tanks and other terrain pieces, I've got a lot of stuff to do ... :) Too much !

Great work WM. As always... Just what are you trying to do? To give mr. skull a run for his money???  :;):

And freshmetal, please do post your impressions on the BKC. Especially on the issue of tanks having wounds.

Spend some of the weekend modding Bloodrayne again, with interesting effects. Also improved existing ones, "wrath of god" on the first level, for example. See, there is a church on this level, and some players might try to destroy two crosses or Jesus figure there. Normally when they do, a thunder strikes. Well, with my modifications, the result is far more memoriable, and if the player tries to do it the second time, his character gets killed in a very spectacular fashion.

Yesterday I went and painted till 11 PM to 2:30 AM, listening to music all the time. Not only did I manage to complete more then in last month or two combined, but also this helped me to put myself back into (somewhat) working order.

He has Mojarn - looks here.  :D
Sounds good too...

Meanwhile - undercoated Typhus, painted one of the altar's flames...... productivity is at an all time low.  :(

Hi,

Another parcel in the post today, the Timecast bridge. I shall snap some size comparison pics next time I get the camera out. As was mentioned in the bridge thread, it is wide enough for normal tanks, but not war engines, titans OR INFANTRY! Well, not unless you move them sideways. I'll keep it as it is for now, until I find a suitable material to build a new base from.

Todays plan for painting... Orks! (surprise, surprise!) Time to get the vehicles started I think. :)

Cheers,
Freshmetal

Think I've finished the Reaver, bad a little touching up, and have started assembling the first of two Marauder Destroyers from FW - man they're big!

I've been doing my final piece of English lit coursework, a big old essay.... :(
The time its taken means I won't quite have time to finish my TofG stuff... and it was all going so well! :p
Theres not actually too much to do- I'll finish the last BFG ships tonight and the Guardians, so I'll just have the aspects to carry over to next month.

I did find time today to complete Homeworld 2 ..what a fabulous game, you can't beat spaceship battles! :;):

Hi,

Managed to get quite a lot of painting done today. Got all the Ork troops ready for their flesh tones and metallics, painted and based 8 Dethkoptas and undercoated and basecoated 2 Warbike KOS' and 2 Boar KOS'.

Planning to finish the KOS' tomorrow and start on the Blitz Brigades.

Cheers,
Freshmetal

I spent a couple of hours last night rigging up a modem for my new PC, and struggling with the front audio panel connectors; the modem was a doddle, but the panel was only working after much trial & error (and cursing :;): )....

Hi,

Another rather productive day yesterday. I managed to base completely the third Warband of the BA 'Uge mob and ALL of the Evil Sunz 'Uge Mob. I've decided that if I can get all the infantry based, the flesh tones and little details can be done over time bit-by-bit.

As well as those, I re-based all of the buggies on pennies and undercoated them, drybrushed two BBB's with metallics and started under/basecoating the Big Gunz and Stompas.

The list of things still to do is looking rather dubious though,

4 'Uge Warbands (base)
2 Bike KOS (details and base)
2 Boar KOS (details and base)
4 Buggy/skorcha KOS (drybrush, details and base)
4 Stormboyz Hordes
2 Big Blitz Brigades (details and base)
1 Big Blitz Brigade (everything)
Goff Stompas (finish rest of them and Supastompa)
2 Other Stompamobs (basecoat onwards)
2 Gunfortresses (drybrushes onwards)
Gargant (details and base)
Oddboyz (gonna be painted as independant characters, so havn't started them yet)
Fighta Bommaz (re-paint as BA's)
A big heap of Battlewagons for the Warbands (long way to go on all of these)

Should keep me busy for a week or two. :) And I should be receiving my BKC British army soon, so that'll be next.

Cheers,
Freshmetal
