Hi Dalton and Good morning!

You might say my battle this morning is a little bit of real time strategy I could do without.

That's sounds trying. I can't stand SPAMMERs. I feel for you.

I have a few extra GW black cases.  We can do an extra deal and you can pass off the deal with Tas - that way you can make sure they get to him ok.

OK. It doesn't matter. I know how to pack thing to survive trips. I used to ship very regularly to Russia, the Ukraine and Israel. If it survives a trip to Russia, it will survive anything. Remember those commercials about gorillas throwing around suitcases at the airline terminal?

Which of the chaos factions did Tas go for?

Tas sort of lucks out. He's going to get almost everything. He really didn't decide on one faction so I'm going to trade a teeny portion of it and he gets the rest. I'm OK with that. He deserves it. Plus I can always trust him to be a stand-up kind of guy in the future if we make another trade then.

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Maksim,

*** What units are you trading? ***

I was always kinda proud of the paint job on the Nurgle war engines.

I wanted to finish that army, but kids and life always seemed to get in the way.

Best regards,
Dalton.

Hi Daniel,

The sad thing is, real life has a way of messing with hobby fun. I, myself, have been working 12+ hour days, still working with my 7 year old to get her to school every morning, trying to sleep (I have something wrong where I wake three or four times a night), and it leaves very little for all of my other needs (Wife, kids, hobby, etc.).

I really sympathize with you.

I've also really missed you lately, man!

*** Are you still posting much at the Specialist Games E-A forums? ***

I've cut down, myself, lately.

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Maksim,
Thanks buddy!
Looking forward to beginning my own Heresy with that lot!
And yes, we'll work out the balance later.

Dalton,
The PO is doing a each trying to find the parcel... ?
They say that some shipments got misplaced during the strike but they are all in a wharehouse locally.  They'll have a defintive answer within the week.

Hi Dalton,

*** What units are you trading? ***

I'm not sure... a little bit of the infantry and some old-school vehicles. We're working out the final counts now. Much of the trade material is also not coming from your collection, the MEGA-trade. I had some chaos built up for a good trade and Tas is as a good a trade as you can get.

I was always kinda proud of the paint job on the Nurgle war engines.

You should be. They're attractive. If I played chaos, I'd never trade them.

I wanted to finish that army, but kids and life always seemed to get in the way.

I understand. Sometimes it's good to be a batchelor. Once school dies down, I hope to have more free time to enjoy my hobbies.

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

You're welcome and you'll have your own heresy when you receive the package.

And yes, we'll work out the balance later.

No worries, mate! :D

Tas,

In regards to the chaos army, I don't know what Maksim is sending, but, I can give you an idea as to what the original army concepts were if you are interested.

I was designing four separate themed armies, although I did not have alot of Tzeentch models.

I had some painting techniques that I used as well, if you want to know what I did, we can talk off list.

--------------------------

Maksim,

Let me know if you need any other information concerning the new trade items. ?

Since I don't know just what you started with, I have a hard time to judge, but, with almost 100 more blisters/sprues...

Won't you be giving Primarch a run for the title of largest army?

--------------------------

Best regards,
Dalton.

Hi Dalton,

I need time... :D

I have lesson planning, getting Diana to the train station later, taking care of her while she's sick, housecleaning, cooking, laundry and too many darn other chores... ?:;):

No wonder my gaming suffers...

Since I don't know just what you started with, I have a hard time to judge, but, with almost 100 more blisters/sprues...

It's a lot, all right.

Won't you be giving Primarch a run for the title of largest army?

I might be giving him a run for his money, but I don't think I'd say anything even if I was challenging him in numbers...

I've been happy with him as PRIMARCH and I'd like to see him keep his title.

We're all old friends here and I don't want to see our relationships change much. Plus people might expect me to start acting like Primarch (Peter) and I have enough trouble just being me! :D

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

MEGA-Photos:
It's not the title that is interesting, its the rental of the hall and pictures of the resultant battle when you two finally go head to head in a large tournament game that uses all of your models.

Lots of help:
I bet you would get people signing up to help finish painting and act as sub-commanders for each side.

Lots of tables:
I would say that 15-20 8x4' battle boards all connected as a single battle front would be in order......

Vacation opportunity:
I think I would pack up the family and travel just to be a part of such a thing.

Warning:
I bet, given enough time for warnings, almost everyone on the list would be into a huge mega-battle!

:D

I hope Diana gets better soon. ?I understand about the chores - Deanna (my better half) has me hanging shelves and moving furniture.

Best regards,
Dalton.

I am so there gentlemen! ?
Put me down as an Imperial Regimental Commander for this million point slugfest.

Maksim,
Please don't let any delay of sending my stuff worry you. I totally understand the demands of real life and whenever you get the chance is fine by me. ?

Dalton,
I'd be very interested indeed to get your thoughts when I get back from sea. ?
Thanks!

Diana and I rented "Shawn of the Dead" yesterday and enjoyed it very much! Cool zombie flick!

Can I go to the 2 million pointer too? pretty please.. :D

You seem in better form now, Maksim, albeit with real life? intruding on gaming time, hopefully that's the case and that it continues to be for some time.

Yea Maksim,

If the million pointer battle will ever occur, we need to find a way to have "real life" help out with the game.

That means we need to get our wives and better halfs in contact so that they want to make the trip with us to meet all thier new friends.

We would need to find a nice cheap central location that would handle the game.

It would be alot of work, but, I can't think of a better way to promote Epic than having a truly Epic battle with pics.

Anyway, it's just a dream until Maksim, Primarch and everyone decides its a good idea and commit themselves.

Best regards,
Dalton.

Hi Guys,

I had another principal observation on Monday. It didn't go that well.

I got these kind of comments:

"It wasn't terrible... just OK."

"You were there but not quite"

It was pretty discouraging.

The worst part was when Ia sked if she had noticed any positive teaching practices and she couldn't think of any. That makes me think that she is focussing on the negative, which makes things really hard on me.

I'm trying... :;):

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.
