P.S.
There is some good news that I won a 1/285 Ironwinds Leopard Dropship which is an excessively cool model! It's huge too!

That is a large ship. I was going to get one from a friend who had one, but I did not like how it looked. Too "warped" looking. Oh well.

Hope you enjoy yours! ?:D

Maksim,

I am glad the issues were resolved. It is hard when you believe you are doing a good job and others say you are not. :(

But in the long run, it was resolved and things will go better. I am sure of it. :D

Hi L-4,

I'd be happy to provide a recon pic when I figure out my digital camera... LOL :D

I'm still dragging my feet on that one.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I had a second observation and evaluation by the principal yesterday. It went well. The only problem is that she liked it so much that she has planned to do another three or four of them to help me become a better teacher. Woohoo (SARCASM)!  :(

In other words, life's been busy for me.

Hi Guys,

I've been occupied, AS USUAL, with work recently. I even had to fo to a mandatory training session on Saturday, BUT... for a change, the training was useful. It discussed how to deal with negative children in a positive way. It was useful and I plan to use the techniques on Monday.

Much of the rest of my weekend was laundry and chores.

My one break was an invitation from my friend Jon on Sunday to come over and play some old board and chit games.

We played the old Arab/Israeli Conflict game "Sinai" from SPI using a 1956 scenario. It was fun. Jon played the Israelis and I played the Egyptians. Jon is going through a "moderns kick" and wants to explore some modern conflicts. He's planning to do an article for the magazine.

I was able to use a camel army (Bedouins) and a combined arms Egyptian task force to destory an Israeli army. It was unprecedented and pretty fun.

Other than the single successful ambush of Israeli troops near the Suez, the rest of the game followed what really happened in history.

I couldn't take care of those darn Israeli paratroops though! They were a pain in my... you know what! :D

I have to take care of a few chores for the guys here:
- Dafrca
- Dalton
- Mojarn
- Tas

And one of these days, I need to send some photos to Jimbo!

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Guys,

Life has been exceedingly busy for me... all work and no play...

I'm still dealing with the principal and trying to find activities for the children that my principal finds "meaningful"... :(

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi All,

The week ended well.

Diana is sick this weekend but, even so, I feel more free than I have in some time.

I spent a good part of Friday cleaning up the classrrom, putting up bulletin boards and trying to cheer up the old dilapidated portable that is the excuse I use for a classroom.

I've also spent some time to organize and lesson plan to head off the detractors. I already have more in than my partners (who are not being reviewed), but I guess double standards are just something many of use suffer from and survive.

I spent a little bit of yesterday putting the final organization on MEGA-trade items and I'm ready to send Dalton the last payment from the MEGA-trade (We split them up because we're both easy-going guys).

Dalton wants some goodies from this page to make a Bloodbowl arena:

http://www.hirstarts.com/

I'm waiting to hear back from Dafrca on a trade.

I'm PMing Mojarn.

And, I'm getting things packed for Tas (I want them to survive the trip across the ocean!).

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hey Maksim,

I am spending my Saturday trying to squelch a series of spamers out of Korea. ?So far I have the culprit servers isolated and I am now dealing with seven hours of mail backlog.

For quick responses, personal message me on this forum.

You might say my battle this morning is a little bit of real time strategy I could do without.

I have a few extra GW black cases. ?We can do an extra deal and you can pass off the deal with Tas - that way you can make sure they get to him ok.

Which of the chaos factions did Tas go for?

Best regards,
Dalton.
