My guess on this would be the Confrontation series of minaitures from Rackham in France.
I don't play 28mm fantasy games but the quality of the sculpts has made me pick up one or two miniatures "just cause".
I know its been a very decent seller at the local hobby stores as well with most of the staff there having switched over from GW games to it instead.

Here in Western Canada the main store is probably:
http://www.sentrybox.com
The website pretty much blows but they do carry the entire range of specialist games.
No pics on the site unfortunately. All their online catalog is is just a table export from their DB. They also do world wide mail order as well.

Primarch: Have you really heard good things about Warmachine's distribution and release? I was interested when it first came out, but it was horribly delayed around here. Maybe that was because of demand. But a friend of mine wanted to run a d20 RPG game from them. The first book came out somewhat late and then all subsequent RPG releases were delayed, iirc, 3 separate times before he finally gave up and told the game shop not to order him a copy after all.
Admittedly, the do seem to be better now, but I was hesitant to do anything but by figs for conversion bits.
BTW, according to the guys at the local GW store, the studio is working on a re-do for the wood elves with a fully new darker background (apparently, they have sold their souls to the trees in return for immortality) and brand new sculpts.

Cool. That's good to know. Although the release of the Space Marine Codex has cut into the Warmachine play on game nights at the local shop, it's still going strong.
Now, if only the SG games become available to indy stores so I can convert them to playing epic...

Hi!
The new online store also had problems recognizing the right charges for shipping, so be careful when ordering. I pointed it out to them, so hopefully it will be fixed.
