Now, I've had a few requests for more info and pics on this model, and I've finally got round to getting some together!
Without further ado... look here;
http://www.netepic.org/GALLERY/view_alb ... me=albuo79
Full 6-page album showing the 2 months+ construction of the model- I've added a few notes to some of the pictures, but I hope to cover it properly in an Incoming! article.
I hope you enjoy the photos -and cheers to all who voted for me! ?
Oh, and here is the little bit of background I made up for the model...
Widely used across the Imperium, the original Pegasus STC first came to light following a lengthy Mechanicus expedition shortly following the end of the Age of Apostasy. Noteable for it's unusual proportions and unsightly appearance on the ground, the Pegasus is nevertheless a key part of many of the forces of the Emperor, be they civilian or military. The basic chassis is highly adaptable, able to carry huge payloads inside its vast hold, with large exterior containers adding extra capacity if needed. The version presented here is lightly armed, but those used by Imperial Guard regiments and some Space Marine Chapters often fit heavy batteries of laser and missile weapons, turning the huge craft into a strongpoint once landed. In the air they are vulnerable to assault from smaller and faster craft however, so are usually seen with an attendant Imperial Navy escort. |

Wow, it took me half an hour just to flick through your images, beautiful birdie. Only one comment, can I have some more completed pics from different angles?

Truly Awesome stuff. Bigatures like this scare me - I'll leave them to the masters who seem to be becoming more common around here - great work all round!

Just Awesome!!! When I first saw this model, I assumed that it was from another Sci-Fi kit that had some details added to blend in with the 40k universe. ?I am amazed that it is scratchbuilt. ?It reminds me a bit of the Klingon Bird of Prey, although I like yours better. ?Even the name "Pegasus" is well chosen. Please, please post more pics, including ones of the rear. ?I'd love to take a look at those engines.

Well...
I would estitmate I spent about 80 days on this, working about 2 hrs a day; so 160 hours work roughly, more including concept drawing and research. It cost me at the most, about ?20 in materials, plus a few bits from my collection for detail....
What do you pay per hour Primarch?!?! lol....
