The Primarch-ian Inventory!

Thanks to everyone who has responded.

I've had a lot on my plate lately so please forgive any extras I've forgotten.

I will, of course, do a Primarch-ian inventory and share out the wealth.

I'd had a lot of PM requests, but the only spoken for is a chaos army for Tas who helped out with the trade making big contributions.

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

I just got home... long day again. My urchins need help.

I still haven't opened the packages yet, but I plan to later this evening.

Right now, my friend Scott, "The Ancients Roman Guru," is having a birthday party and I'm heading out to meet him.

I hope that everyone else is enjoying their evenings (Or mornings... or afternoons... :) ).

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Maksim,

You could just forward them down here and I will open them for you. :;):

Once you know what IG or Knights you have, let's talk if there is any left.

The Oasis, Blade III and Basking In the Glow of Friendship!

Hi Guys,

Scott, Jon, Willa, Carolyn and I went out to a restuarante called "The Oasis" modelled on the tomb of an ancient Egyptian brewer. I thought that the food was mediocre. We then went to see "Blade III" (Scott is a fan), but we were all disappointed with it.

However, basking in the glow of friendship was nice and we all enjoyed that.

I did open two of the five packages later that evening. three left to go.

I'm pacing myself... ?:D

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Potential New Year's Resolutions?

Hi Everyone,

I've been pondering what sorts of New Year's Resolutions I want to make for the upcoming year (2005).

---

These are not my final concrete resolutions, but:

GODZILLA @ CONQUEST 2005 - I want to run a Giant Monster-type Godzilla game next year at CONQUEST 2005 so polishing off some terrain and getting some monsters based is a plan.

I AM THE CRIMSON FISTS GUY! - I want to make sure I have at least 1,500 points of based E-A Crimson Fists for next year, 2005.

URBAN TERRAIN - I'd like to build and base at least 1'x1' of urban terrain. ?

CUSTOM TERRAIN BOARDS - I'd like to put the finishing touches on my Mars Forgeworld and Agri-world terrain boards.

6mm ANCIENTS - It would be nice to do some 6mm ancients wargaming.

UBER-Nids! - I'd like to work some more on my burgeoning Tyranid army including scratch-building some Synapse Nodes.

---

*** What do you think, Guys? ***

*** Too ambitious? ***

Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Go for it Maksim, all are achievable, it just depends on how much Real Life? gets in the way.

If you are to get married, you'd better let her make the resolutions! :D

Maksim,

If marriage is on the horizon, most of your resolutions are distant dreams.  But, you won't mind.  When my wife and I met, I had just purchased 10 fleets of GZG's full thrust.  The site was beautiful, carriers, battleships, alian biological ships from two different races....

Now, coming up on our 6th anniversary, I still am finding epic stuff intermixed with the still unopened full thrust fleets.
I have plans to assemble them soon, really soon, in fact, I may make a resolution for this year....

The only resolutions you will be able to make, will be, spend alot of time with the women you love, sit back and listen when she tries to get you involved in the planning of the wedding, and finally, look forward to a lifetime with your best friend.

best regards

Dalton

Are you pacing yourself or just playing with these poor guys?  ???

I have this vision of Maksim with the whole thing out on a folding table with boxes of organizers all laid out, franticly trying to do some sort of inventory...

Have fun Maksim!

Marriage was not the issue for me, it was the Rug Rats. Funny how a baby can disrupt life so much. Add in a second and man, we have a Gamer with almost no time.

Then have a slot for a promotional opportunity open up and see what happens. Wife, two kids, job, working as replacement for other job, and then try and add in playing with ?Daddy?s little men?. :O

But do not let it stop you Maksim. I have been married for 12+ years and I do not regret it one bit.

Over at the California_E-A_Gamers E-group, we ran a few questions that I thought I'd share here:

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/CA-EA-Gamers/

Roll Call: Which armies do you play? Where are you?

Hi Everyone,

[[[> - Which armies do you play?]]]

I play nearly all of the armies including a few that were never made:

- Eldar: Stock armies.
- Imperial Guard: Stock and Customized armies.
- Necrons: Customized army.
- Orks: Stock and Customized armies.
- Space Marines: Stock armies.
- Star Skaven: Customized army.
- Squats: Stock and Customized armies.
- Tyranids: Stock and Customized armies.

About the only force I don't play is chaos. However, I still don't have anough Tau to do much with them. I may remedy that in the future.

[[[> - Where are you?]]]

I'm local to Sacramento in Northern California, but I'll travel all around Northern California for a good game including the San Francisco, Oakland, Palo Alto, and the rest of the Bay Area among other places. I've been down to L.A. before as well.

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

OPENING BOXES - The SEQUEL!

Hi Dafrca,

Dafrca: I have this vision of Maksim with the whole thing out on a folding table with boxes of organizers all laid out, franticly trying to do some sort of inventory...

That's about what has really been going on! ?:)

All the boxes are now open and I'm trying to put some order to everything, but Dalton had had them story in every which way.

A lot of the models will need repair and possibly stripping as well.

I also haven't found an Eldar Warlock Titan for Justiniel yet.

Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

British Guard vs. Martians today! :D

Poor Victorian British Guard. When the Martians pull out their "Zap-Rays" and their "Flying Saucers" the Red Coats will be done for.  :p

Sorry, could not resist the mental image that poped into my head. I know you mean Martians, as in 1899, but I saw these Brits running away from the little green men with rayguns. :;):
