The polls for the voting for the EpiComms Painting Competition are about to go up (or have by the time you read this).
The Single Unit and Single Titan will have heats finishing on the 20th December with a final then taking place with the top six entries in the single unit category (and top four in the single titan).
The Open, Terrain and Battleforce categories will be one heat.
Final Deadline for votes will be the 31st December 2004 with results announced on the 1st January 2005.
Please do not discuss entries and any one posting additional pictures or links will be disqualified.
No discussion with the organised will be entered into and the decision is final.
You can see the entries here on the boards or grouped on these pages: http://www.efelix.co.uk/comp/
Let the voting begin...

Notes
Some entries were resized as they were "too large".
I do realise some people are competing against themselves, but this is down to the number of entries entered by those people. Where there are heats, people's entries have been spread out.
Prizes will be announced shortly (when I get to my other computer).
Vote Now!

Pardon my stupidity, but are you suppose to be allowed to vote for yourself? Also I clicked on View Result (null vote) by accident, other then letting you see the result, does it null your vote if already done so? or just not allow you to vote if you havent?

I am afraid that if you click on the 'null vote' button then you lose the chance to vote in that category. Basically, you cant see the results until you have voted, and if you dont want to vote and just see who is winning, you click that. Of course, once you have seen the current results, you cant then vote.

So you can vote and then see the result? Or does viewing the votes mean the vote already submitted then gets erased?
Sorry, like I said, it's the first ever compo I ever participated so don't know how things work.
Also... are we suppose to be able to vote for ourselves? Now normally I wouldn't (honestly), but I guess if other people are...

If you have not voted and you click on 'null vote', you are able to see the results. You cannot then vote.
If you have not voted and you then vote, your vote is counted and you can see the results, but you then cant 'null vote'.
If you have voted then you cannot change your vote and you should always be able to see the results as they are. Once our vote has been cast, it cannot be changed, edited or deleted, even by me.

I'm with Kr00za.
I think that unpinning some of the other threads would make voting more accessible.

Having just recently attained gainful employment, I will be back around some.
It was nice to come back and first thing get to flip through all the competition entries. I just have to say...
WOW!
It makes me feel like a slacker. Hopefully, my new schedule will allow me some time to catch up with you guys.

Its funny everytime i went to vote for myself my hand went into a spasm. Like they was a little angel sat on my right hand shoulder jumping up and down and beating me over the head every time i considered voting.
So i put in a null vote in the heats i was in (it hurt less).
Morals who needs them eh?
