Okay, here's the deal, in about two to three weeks I'm getting a brand new piece of hardware.
I don't have any high demands on it, but I might want to play Dawn of War on it.
So, what is really needed for DoW to play without slowdowns and the like?

I can only say that it works very well on my PC with max details : - P4 2.8GHz - 1GB RAM - Radeon Ati 9800XT
I suppose it could work with less, though.

I'm running it on a: P4 2.5 Ghz 1 GB RAM 256 mb Geforce FX 5700
Runs reasonably well at high resolution though it can get a bit heavy when there's a lot of stuff happening. I reckon that it would be able to run on a system with some 1 Ghz processor, 256 mb RAM and a 64 mb graphics card if you turn the graphics settings down. -No guarantee though -It can be a bit heavy from time to time.
Cheers!

The minimum specs are a 1.4GHz PIII with 256Mb RAM.
The key will be the video card which must be a DirectX 9 AGP video card with 32Mb VRAM.
it runs fine on my 3.06GHz P4, 512Mb RAM and NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600. Though I only installed the Demo, thought it was a bit pants and uninstalled - then again I don't like computer games that much!!!

2,5 Ghz, 512 RAM, 128MB graphics card.
I hovewer am a little bothered about my old monitor. It's an analog "true" 14 inch CRT that can display up to 1024x768 resolutions with a video bandwidth of 65 Mhz. By "true" I mean that the actual visible are of the screen has 14 inch diagonal, not the entire monitor.
Will it suffice or should I dish out money on a new one?
