Last year, it was decided that it would be unfair for any one member of these boards to be able to win more than one prize. The spirit of the competition is to encourage participation and getting involved. And so, again last year, each entrant submitted a list of preferences. For example, if I entered the single unit, battleforce and single titan categories, than I would specify the categories in the order that I would like to win them. So, for example, if I liked the prize for the single unit most, then my order of preference would be something like single unit, then single titan and the battleforce.
So, if I then won the battleforce and the single titan category (yeah, right!), then it would be judged that I would get the prize for the single titan category, as that was higher in my priority list, and the prize for the battleforce category would go the second place (if that person had not already been allocated a prize).
It is really a lot more simple than it sounds... honest!
But, of course, you cant decide which order your preferences are until you actually know what the prizes are! Also, I am not sure about the specifications for this year exactly, but last year the order of preference was decided after the closing deadline.
