You guys are too funny.
Me, I gave out 15 pounds of candy. Watched my "Snow White" and "Little Pumpkin" head over to Grandmas house for some Ooohs and Aaws. when they got back, me and the Pumpkin (Who had crashed out) stayed home and Maddy and Mom went out to collect up her share of the candy.
Good times for all.

I visited a good friend of mine who lives some distance away. We talked about scale models and WWII and I borrowed a couple of good books on both subjects from him. Who could ask for more? (And Netepic, I know already what YOU are going to answer... )

Unusually for me I got involved in Halloween this year. My family have never liked the holiday for some reason & thus its just something I've never really even noticed.
However, this year was different.
The Venture scout & Ranger Guide unit I'm involved in celebrated early on Thursday with a night of Halloween games. As one of the leaders who's not afraid to make a fool of himself, I was targeted for the costume competition, ending up being dressed in a lovely ensemble made from bin bags, newspaper & a selection of halloween accesories. I have to admit the team did a good job on their individual sections, it was certainly the finest crafting of bin bags & newspaper I've ever seen, even if they did make me look like a "cross-dressing commando" (judges words) when it was assembled! Thankfully, no cameras were present....
The team pumpkin carving saw some... umm... "interesting" designs as well as one or two that were actually rather artistic!
The teams then went on to compete in a relay of halloween challenges, mostly involving awkward ways to eat food.
That was followed by what turned into a very serious challenge on the apple bobbing between myself & another of the young leaders. I came out victorious achieving 16 apples in a minute, despite us both cutting our lips on sharp stalks & ending up very, very dizzy.....
I was at my GF's house on the night itself & we were bombarded by Trick or Treaters - a tradition that simply doesnt seem to exist where I live, despite it being a mere mile away! I handed out the snack size chocs to most, unless they were tall enough to be seen through the glass in the door. In that case they were deemed to old for the event & I opened the door with a WWII grenade in one hand.. and the pin in the other with an evily uttered "trick" ?
Overall - I've decided I like Halloween & shall be using it as a good excuse for much siliness in the future

No, no, nooooo! It is halloween you should be out finding real battle sisters!
| I'll consider your advice next year, Tom. Right now I have an iron control over my libido.
Was quite fun this year. Three days of weekend go a long way towards providing some good relax, and modelling work advanced more then in last two weeks.
