Hi All,
I've been wondering: Is there anyone around with gigantic fleets of Primarch-load proportions, or is this enviable trend restricted to Epic only?
I've got only a few thousand points of Chaos, a bit less of orks, still less Imperial stuff (9 ships, four of which are transports!), two SM ships, one Eldar ship, and nil DEs or Tau or Nids or GK or Demiurg or Kroot. Nowhere near big numbers. Oh, and only a few Chaos and ?a single Ork ship painted.
Sighs.

I am not a BFG fan and the only ships I own are the two for my IG and two for my SM Epic Armies.
But I had to have a look at a thread with a Title like this.
What a fleet that one is. Man that is a lot of stuff.

Quote (Cuban Commissar @ 24 2004 Oct.,04:51) | You mean like this...
Huge Fleet | VERY nice CC - I'd be proud to serve in a fleet such as that!
From a naming convention POV, Batteries and Brigades are not Naval terms for groups of ships (Ships have Betteries of Guns, Brigade is an army term sometimes used for Naval landing parties). Destroyers and Frigates usually use terms such as Squadrons (as you have used), Flotillas and Divisions instead.
Hope that helps! Tas

...and if you are good enough groups of the enemy ships are called "debris".

Tas,
I cannot claim credit for that fleet. It was a website I found some time ago. I was so amazed by the sheer size of it I kept it bookmarked. I figured it was exactly the fleet to describe a primarch load of stuff. Last time I checked he was still adding more the fleet.
My more humble fleet only weighs in at 4K. They can be found here.

Hey Primarch, why not give Epicomms filming-rights for a reality show sort of thing: The LOAD! (0 to 100k points in 4 weeks). By the way, not cheap, but with Epic prices the way they seem to be going (Siege troops, ebay etc)...
