Thanks for advice, Stormseer.
Pinning this fellow is a must, considering that he is really made of scrap bits.
Cm'on, the backpack itself came in four parts, that's insane!
Without pinning, it would be a nightmare to pose him right, and he would be far less resistant to structural stress damage - considering the number of parts, it aint something I'd enjoy.

lovely cruisers Centurion! ?The imperial ships are just lovely to paint and detail aren't they!
I took a night off with another Navy mate to contest our Annual "Grudge Bowl" Tournament - a Blood Bowl extravaganza which includes drinking between each turn. ?
Its an Annual contest we call the "Shamrock Cup" which is named after the Shamrock Hotel where we first contested the perpetual trophy in Hong Kong in 2000. ?We ensure we hook up somewhere in the world each year to play and this year we have the joy of a home match in Sydney. ?One year it was played in an active war zone which was particularly amusing (though there was an alcohol ban at that tournament)...
I was very pleased to take a 1-0 series lead (in a best of 3 matches) with a lightnig 6-2 win over the Humans with my Skaven Team. ?Match 2 is scheduled for 2 weeks time...
And tomorrow is Games day Australia - yeah!

WOHOOO! Got my Grey Knights in the mail today. They're definitely worth the money. Think E40k chaos spures and then just a notch better. The level of detail is nice but what really strikes me as amazing is the variety of postures. I can't see how the heck they are casting those things! The casts as such are pretty nice. Everything is there and there's only a single Force halberd broken. A tiny bit of flash but nothing serious which could obscure any detail. The Land Raiders are awsome but there's a few casting problems arrround the muzzle of a couple of the Lascannons. The Dreadnouughts were a very pleasant surprise. The pics in the online store don't quite do them justice. I may still trim them a bit at the waist though to make them a bit less "tallish".
Now to break open the pots of silver paits!
Cheers!

Well I just got home from GD Australia...
...what a huge and utter dissappointment. ?
There was no Specialist Games (or black library) representation AT ALL. ?The staff didnt know what was or wasnt there - so I only found out there was no epic after a significant wait. ?The FW stand had bugger all stock so I all could get was some Hell Talons (which I didnt really want but I wasnt leavin' with nuthin'!)- no Terrain, no Tau, no Grey Knights, no freaking anything except basic vehicles.
There was some nice terrain, but couldnt near it for 3 million 12 year olds, and the machine-spirit of my camera failed when I eventually had a clear shot. ?I'll see if I can find a pic online this week of what was good.
The Golden Demon had some interesting entries, but no epic.
I'm so annoyed. ?Like dafrca, I'm writing a letter, but the content will vary somewhat. ?I was disillusioned about GW Oz before (with no stocking any spec-games) but now I am questioning why I support them at all. ?(No dafrca, you cant have my armies!)

...what a huge and utter dissappointment. ? | On a serious note, this is how I felt about GamesDay Los Angeles. It did not feel like a GW event, more like a half baked local convention.
No bitz sale, no epic, FW had only a few of their 40k items and no one from the FW staff.
The only saving grace, IMO, was the tables looked good. But to be honest, I paid way too much just to see some tables.
It felt like they were trying to set it up to fail, so they could prove that they did not need one down here in SoCal.
