Eh? Surely if Epic:A gains in popularity, then GW US will think; "oooh, we can make lots of money from these new Epic fans! I know, let's reopen the archive!"
..Whereas if it starts selling badly (unlikely imo, as SG is now giving it good support (better than Necromunda actually)... then GW will not reopen the archive as they could only sell small quantities of bits to epic fans, and therefore it would be uneconomical to run the moulds.

Hi!
If they were logical in their marketing Stormseer, I'd agree, but in the past the epic archive only appeared AFTER epic40k belly flopped and they removed it PRIOR to Epic A's release in the US.
Perhaps they can learn this time around.

Primarch | That brings up a good question:
If I wanted to write a nice letter expressing my desire to have some of those things available again, who would I address it to? Anyone have a name for the Operations and Marketing Heads?

Perhaps they can learn this time around. | Yes- thats true. It seemed bizzare to remove something that would soon have had an influx of potential new customers when Epic:A was released... We can mutter and grumble about GW's illogical decisions all night though, can't we....

Once I have real names I will write the letters and post one for you guys to see as well.

Yeah, go for it Daf.... Great idea- An eloquent and well structured mail that gets your point across well is far more likely to get an informative response than one which comes across as agressive.... maybe they'll even reopen the archive if it's especially impressive!

It would be more convincing if a number of people sent similar letters or added their names to it.
I'm willing to sign my name up to a piece of correspondance like you suggest: polite, eloquent and with positive suggestions

When I want to change someones mind or at least get them to think about what I want, in business, I hit them where it counts. Their bottom line.
I am not talking about threats of boycott or any such silliness. I am talking about something like this...
Picture you are the marketing or sales manager for GWUS and you open a letter that starts like this:
Dear XXXXXX,
I have $300 USD set aside in my savings account. It is earmarked for Games Workshop. I would love to send it to you, but I can not. Please allow me to explain why. Your company has indicated it does not want my money. How? By eliminating the things I wanted to buy from your available inventory.
Now I am not saying that this is the best way to word it, but I have his attention, I am sure.
Further send this to the Head of Marketing, Sales, Operations, and the overall Head of GWUS.
It can?t hurt.
