Hi Jimbo, Guys...
In the light of recent unexpected events, I'm going to have to withdraw my Logan Grimnar stand from the Epic Painting competition I'm afraid.
It appears pictures of my entry will be appearing elsewhere online & possible in publications which are beyond my control thus will break the rules of the competition anyway.
This is in no way a snub to the competition, its certainly not second rate in anyway in my eyes, but since I will get disqualified at some point I thought I'd rather retire my entry early!
Having said all that, I tried to delete my post & whilst it appeared to workas usual, on second inspection the post is still there, so if thats a Mod setting, Jimbo would you pleasedo the honours?

Hi Tuff
The "elsewhere" rule only applies to miniatures NOT painted in 2004.
Due to the nature of the issue, I am willing to still accept this entry as the "discussion" is out of your control.

Although I have pics of it I have kept my promise to not have it shown in Incoming. I havent as yet seen any photos elsewhere of your entry. It would have been a shame to have left it out due to matters out of your control.
thanks Jimbo!

I think Tuffskull should do what he believes is best for him, however I will say I do not see an issue with him and things out of his control.
Besides, I like the idea of more pictures the better the gallery will be.

Hi all.
My thanks for your understanding on this issue, but I have now removed my entry fromthe single unit catagory.
I am getting a lot of email requests for detail pictures of the squad & to be honest I'd quite like to show people the units that have become the highlight of my painting career so with no disrespect to the competition, I have withdrawn.
I will see if I can put something else together for it, but the likelyhood is that I wont find time.
Best of luck to all competitors & I'm sorry for mesing around.
P.S. I'll be posting a full page of space puppy pics to my website shortly

As I said, I believe you must do what is best for you. I will support you either way you went.
In any case, congrats on your award.
