Many thanks for your suggestions... There are basically two directions that this could go in. The first is a GW related URL, which as Jimbo pointed out could be a minefield. Also, it would need to be something that applied to both games. The second is a generic wargaming one.

Suggestions that I like so far are:

www.StrikeForce-CombinedArmsGaming.net (although one half of that would be better)
www.HomeOfTheWorldFamousEpicomms.net  :D
www.gothicwar.net

I would really like www.warhound.net - but it is already gone!
:{

Something abstract might be nice too.
Keep 'em coming, guys. And thanks.

A few names have been used for both Epic tanks and BFG ships have they not? (particularly Eldar)
Any possibilities there?
I'm not well up on BFG I'm afraid, at least not yet though I've just had an E-bay package with a cruiser (to add to Epic IG) and several smaller ships that I've no idea about, one of which is Eldar, so maybe the box is beckoning :D

As I do not know much about Gothic, so I just have to ask...

What does Gargant have to do with the Gothic Game?

It doesnt, but it is still quite cool. I will leave that one for Jimbo to grab. How many people do you think we could annoy if we took www.rogue-trader.net?  :D

I might open this discussion up to the Gothic Yahoo Group, since they are the community that I am trying to additionally draw in more.

What is the name of the final battle in Eldar mythology? Rhana Dandruf? Would that make a good address? Possibly to tied to the Eldar.

The Eldar one is hard to remember - only people who have you saved to there favourites or went via a link would be able to access the site.

Rogue Trader is still played with many support sites, that would cause issues as you would get people expecting the wrong game. Possibly putting off Gothic and EPIC players expecting it to be a support site for 'the old 40k'.

That was the second train of thought for me. Something along the linesof www.tacticalwargames.net

But, it doesnt 'say' GW or Gothic, so I am not sure about it.

The truth is, most of the GW based names will seem to favor one game or another. Even Portent is seen as a 40k site, even though his site reports about other games.

I think once you launch and you promote it on the yahoo groups and other forums, at a point the "word" will spread and your name will become known for the games you support. Just as Portent did. The Portent link was placed on a lot of 40k sites and word got around.

Just my .02 worth.
