Is it just me or does some of the Emoticons not work?
I some of my recent replies I've noticed that only the "regular" smiley seems to come out right with the rest of the emoticons appear as code.
Is it just me? Or could some of the emoticons have been somehow erased from the server???

Here's a quick test: ?:) ?:p ???? ? ?:;):

Cheers!

Edit: Odd... Now they all seem to work, but I've often had problems with Cool, toungesmiley and laugh...

I just type them in manually. I memorized "the codes" ... previous occupational hazard ... :;): ?Otherwise I have had a few problems too using the "quick post" option ! :o

Interesting, I have not had any problems, but I do not use the "Quick Reply" option. (Old Habits die hard   )

Yes I have also had problems with the Emoticons not showing up right, but only in the quick post, not the regular reply section.

Aye, I've posted about this before, seems that it's happening again, and yes, it does seem to be the quick post option.

Just a quick test. SOme random smilies: :p  :;):  :O

Do these work? If you are getting the IB code for the smilies, then it is a problem with the board code running, and not the server exactly...

EDIT: Seems OK for me. I would guess that there is a problem with your machine accessing the full code of the board (including the code which substitutes the smilies for the short code). Does this happen at a particularly busy time for the internet?

Hmmm...
From that it seems that when you quick reply it doesn't put the space it needs before each emotion- I hadn't noticed this because I usually check a post first and put them in....

Yes, I noticed that a "space" is required ...  :D  :;):

Yup, that's what I've started to do too.

Interesting, so the Quick Reply does not add the space but the normal reply does?
