I notice that the Whirlwind sells for US$35, whereas the "classic Rhino" sells for US$45. Does the Whirlwind kit have everything needed to make a basic Rhino (two track sprues, two hull sprues)? Thanks.

Yes you do get the Rhino parts... ...weird that they are pricing the collectors vehicles so highly! $83 for a classic predator?! wtf?

Quote (kr00za @ 27 2004 Aug.,14:42) | The basic Rhino is so simple it would be pretty easy to make one from some plasticard... total cost... about ?2 | Well, yeah. But that's wouldn't scratch my Collector's Itch.

Hi!
And if they did, we would just assume the person had not taken their medication.
|
Or we'd assume they work for GW, in which case they need medication, so it all works out....

Well, I want a Rhino AND a Whirlwind, so I guess I could just buy a Whirlwind and construct it in such a way as to make it modular. Perhaps I can incorporate magnets into a miniature for the first time... fun!

Hmm... Just remembered something- a friend of mine mentioned to me that he is possibly looking to sell some of his Space Wolves.. which include a few Rhinos (some painted and some unpainted).
If you like I could ask what he wants for them....

My budget is all tied up in eBay auctions for the moment. I am just planning what to do in another month or so... thanks, though.

Will do! I figured I should get everything needed from the Force Org charts before I start buying vehicals. That means another tactical squad, and I won't be satisfied with anything less than the original Rogue Trader plastic marines, for some reason. We'll see how long it takes me to win an auction!
