Here's the second Warhound.

The Reaver was probably the most successful of the lot from a technical point of view although, like the Warhounds, the Reaver lasers don't have the benefit of the GSW Fluo Violet that I used to pump up the saturation on the Warlord lasers. I might have to go back and do that later.

Last but not least. Hopefully you can see the impact of the fluo violet compared with the earlier attempts on the smaller engines. Anyway, that's it for now! I need to decide on a traitor legio!

That is absolutely stunning work, think one of the nicest examples of a Warhound I have seen. Tough to pick out any one area in particular, but the plasma-type effect is especially cool. They must look great on the tabletop!

How did the game go and how did you find it?

Thanks for the kind words! The plasma is magenta and fluo pink inks from Liquitex, along with white (ink, acrylic paint and oil paint for different purposes).

The game was a lot of fun! Very friendly, just to learn the rules, really. Some amusing situations with engines either refusing to die or going down spectacularly. I'm very keen to keep building my Ignatum force and to get started with a traitor legio, but I really do need to finish off some other existing projects first! Meanwhile, I understand that there are some people who play AT at my local club, so I need to get along to some evenings there now that I've got a playable maniple painted.
