Okay, as you might expect with moving house and holidays I have not got much further...
I am intending to purchase one of the new FW Squiggoths which are very very nice and should make a nice addition to the forces.

Okay, eventually, my Forgeworld Epic Squiggoth arrived (only two weeks late).
I am very impressed with the quality of this piece and it is a fantastic little (well slightly less than little really) model.

and as you can see it is about three times the size of the Epic 40K Squiggoth.

Hi!
Thats one BIG squiggoth.
I'll need to make some netepic rules for it to differentiate it from the standard one.

Wow, that is quite a bit larger then the metal ones. But I like the way it looks. Seems like it would be fun to paint for those who like details.

Wow, thanks for the pics of the Biggoth, Jimbo. Looks very nice, although I have a soft spot for the small e40K ones.

Yeah nice looking model - perhaps that has something to do with why Jervis differentiated between 'Squiggoth' and 'Greater Squiggoth' in the feral list?

Yes, I got mine last month and IT will be quite a model once finished ! ?I may make a mixed det of 1 F/W M/S/goth & 2 E40K S/goths. ?Or I may see what the F/Ork models look like in the future and decide.

I have undercoated my Epic Squiggoth (decided in the end to use black).
I also undercoated my Feral Orks on Warmaster bases.
I also undercoated some Deth Koptas and converted pilots, but they were in 40K scale (so don't count).
I have also decided that I will go with a desert theme with them, and that I will be basing all the units including vehicles.... we'll have to see how that goes!!!
My Ork Airfield Defence Force will also be in a desert theme so that I can inter-mix units.
