Well here is the first batch of my painted DA. http://groups.msn.com/HetzersEpic/shoebox.msnw
This is easily the fastest army I have ever painted. A spray can of DA Green, some Skull White mixed in for drybrush, a couple of old transfers and they are done.
Now if they could just win me a game or two =).
PS: Little green figs on green base = bad idea.

Welcome aboard Hetzer (WWII German Anti-tank vehicle on Czech 38t chassis, German translation - "Ambusher") ! IIRC Nice stuff, the Bunkers are very WWII Atlantic Wall !

Welcome to the boards Hetzer! Some very nice looking minis there; lovely neat drybrushing and details- I really like the Terminators and the tanks- simple scheme, but very effective.. good job..

WW2 German AFVs were always a passion of mine. I spent a couple of years in the reserves (P.E.I.R Light armored RECCE) during and after high school and got into wargaming during my colleges years. I still fondly remember the time I deployed and forgot about a detachment of well camouflaged Hetzers (GHQ Micro Armor) on the gaming board. It wasn't until the end of the game that I realized the Hetzers never fired a shot or moved the whole game . I later attributed it to the massive fuel shortages the Germans were suffering from during the closing months of the war.

I spent 10 1/2 years as an Infantry Officer in the US Army ('79-'90). But modeled and wargamed before and after. Since most of my Epic Armies (9+) are painted in tactical colors, I have missed activating a Rhino, Ork B/W det. etc. before ... "The Fog of War" !

"The Fog of War" Heh heh ain't it true. I remember being a young crew commander on exercise and the total confusion associated with moving through rough terrain on a Recce trace. Half the time we were lost or backtracking (ahh the life of a reservist ). I can't even imagine the level of "fog of War" in a shooting war. And hopefully I never will

Ahh, another DA player! ?Most excellent! ?I love the figs, and yes, they are easy to do. ?Two points, though. ?The Tac squads look a little too Salamander with the black shoulder pads and the Termies are Deathwing and should be white or off-white. ?Don't let my nit picking bother you, though. ?Very nicely done!

That's the great thing about Epic ... you're never wet, cold, tired or dirty and all KIAs come back to life next game !

ARRGH! Yet ANOTHER person who paints better than me! It's a conspiracy, I tell ya.
Seriously, welcome aboard. You have already mastered the basic rule: Pics are mandatory. If you do not post pics you may be used as reactor shielding.
