Little Rat Cads

Hello All,

My large Ratkin order has arrived from Microworldgames (MWG), so I intend to document my painting of them here.

DISCLAIMER: I LOVE this range, I must have 50%+ of the entire fantasy range painted and based, so I am not 100% objective. You have been warned.


First of, these figures are excellent, detail is tremendous, and no flaws in the figure. Some trimming was required ofc.

I started with 2 packs of Ratkin Warriors (and some command). Based on 40mm * 20mm * 3mm MDF.

Here's the first clan all ready for painting.

NOTE: I used a much ruder word in post title, and it was edited... Hmm... Not entirely happy about the censorship.

And the first test base painted!

I have to say, good figures make for easy paint jobs!

Colours may be a little too close together for good definition, but I like them!

They look good en masse!

Actually, the board software seems to automatically change the offending word to the word "cad". So no one overtly censored the post.

I really like the brighter more bold green on the monks robes which do you prefer?

The darker Green is my favourite, but if I add another it will be in the lighter green.

I would vote for the darker green.
